Chicken recipe with spices and citrus


6 chicken drumsticks

2 chicken breasts

2 blood orange

2 tangerines

1 lime (green lemon)

For spice sauce:

1 teaspoon of grated ginger

2 star anise

1 stick cinnamon

Half a glass of olive oil

2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses, salt


For ginger sauce, put ginger, star anise and cinnamon in a bowl, add olive oil, pomegranate syrup and salt and leave for half an hour. Slice the orange, tangerine and limes and place them on a baking sheet with greaseproof paper. Add the chicken pieces to the spicy sauce and place on the citrus fruits. Cover the tray with baking paper and then aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes. At the end of the period, take the baking paper and foil and cook until the chickens are golden brown.
